Okay I had one computer completely melt down and thus i lost EVERYTHING on it's hard drive including all bookmarks.
But now I have a new Macintosh (and it is very very nice) and I have found Homegrown Goodness and I will be back on a regular basis.
Didja Miss me?

How well does the Mac interface with the not-so-Mac world? Like loading things from the Internet, etc.? Are the main advantages graphics-related? Or is it better all the way around?
Looking forward to your postings!

Johno, Macs are virus free (yes there are 3 or 4 out there in cyber space...) they handle the internet just fine as long as you have enough memory and something other than dial up (which I don't).
the new macs are now using the intel chip and have translators so it is pretty easy to have a Mac in a PeeCee world these days. this new mac is enough different from the old OS that there was a bit of a learning curve for me (I have not had that happen in 10+ years with these machines). But after having this for a couple of months I am comfortable with it and like it a lot more than past Macs I have owned.
