i ain't nobody special, just a poor guy back in the woods doing crazy things. Well, I was homeschooled and i did learn to think for myself.
I do all kinds of things as time permits, practical stuff, like mechanics, (may include manufacturing my own parts when needed with foundry and machining) agriculture, (food growing and horse stuff) electronic stuff (junk collector for all the spare parts) logging and sawmilling of course, since trees are abundant. Can't list everything I get into. Too much, it leaves me with many times more stuff on the agenda than time allows to work on. Trying to go to market with produce this year since I'm getting low on high grade timber and need another income source. High brix is the way to go. Everybody I talk to deplores the supermarket maters and wants some good ones, well, I can grow em good if I try, provided nature doesn't go too crazy. Need to get them under a roof to get the best results, so I can control the weather.
Oh, and I started my school days traveling to a big city library once a month, books, stacks of them, inventors and inventions, and it never got old, still at it after over 30 years of it, although the internet kind of took the place of the library. So if I talk over yer heads a bit, or get into weird things, sorry. I'm not really yer average backwoods farmer. Since I just gotta have some kind of independent energy source, I was working on building my own steam powered tractor until I found something better. All my radio technology studies from 30 years ago has suddenly become quite useful.
