If people are still interested in this, any ideas on how to go about it? I thought perhaps we could post a few book titles, with a brief script or a link to Amazon maybe?, that we really like and recommend, and if there are any takers, then get PM'd for further info? And as some people would rather have fiction or non fiction, pretty much any book goes. Any other ideas or suggestiongs on how to work this are more than welcome. I'll post a few books I really enjoyed, that I wouldn't mind sending out, as I think they were fantastic reads. I read everything from CanLit, Classics, SciFi, ModernLit, even John Grisham and Sue Grafton. I draw the line at Danielle Steel and the like (I do read some trash, but I'm not going to admit that on a public forum). Anyone else on board? Or am I gonna be mailing myself books?

OK,
I'll pull my books that I don't mind letting go and post them this weekend. It will most likely be sci-fi/fantasy with an eclectic mix of other genre. Some non-fiction too.
Mainly hardback, book club editions, some first editions and some used books.

I have several medical text books, there are some that I'd *REALLY* like someone else to take and read, and give me an outline of.....

Allright, here's a few.
Bread Alone...bold fresh loaves from your own hands by Daniel Leader & Judith Blahnik (would like to eventually get it back, even if it's years from now, so will put my address in the front)
The Cure for Death by Lightning....Gail Anderson-Dargats (pretty cool Canadian novel)
Chinese Cinderella (The true story of an unwanted daughter)...Adeline Yen Mah (Amy Tan type novel, but kinda whiny - still a good read)
A Fine Balance....Rohinton Mistry This is probably one of the best novels I've ever read in my life, and I read a lot. An absolutely fascinating, heart breaking book. It's a big book, a thousand pages or so, but easy and you can't put it down once you get into it. I've only read it twice, and have it on my list to reread this summer. (Don't worry, I've got several copies around) And I loved Catcher In The Rye as my favorite, before this one.

All the classics, lotsa literature, poetry, some good memoirs (Joan Didion's A Year of Magical Thinking is very good), bios, and others...I better not offer up any of BF's Physics books and such...
