A tidbit from the major NZ kiwifruit breeder:
"Zespri has the largest kiwifruit species breeding programme in the world, keeping up to 50,000 seedlings in trial."
That's a heck of a trial.....

Yeah, the pictures of it is much more colorful than the actual fruit is, as I don't know what the currency exchange would be in USD I can only guess at what they might cost, but knowing what they charge for fancy square watermelons, I can bet that they are not cheap. I would be more interested in getting some rooted cuttings so that I would know that they would be the same kind of Kiwi. I wonder what cross they are, I know that the USDA Grin seed bank has a good many varieties of cold hardy varieties along with the tropical types. I wish I could get a few of the cuttings that they offer. I know that they offer a good many types of Grapes and Apples also. George W.
