I just realized after 6 months, +40 posts, receipt of seed from some generous folks here that a brief bio is probably in order. I'm 62 with a background in the investment industry but retired for 17 years. This briefly describes how my wife and I got to where we are. It doesn't reflect how our thinking and efforts have changed since the financial mess of 2008. I should probably try to update that piece. Suffice it to say that we now focus on how to get from seed to mouth with the biggest return for the least amount of resources while reducing dependencies.
