Some of you know me as Hawk at the Tomato Depot and Summerhawk over at iDig... I have not spent much time at iDig lately though... Some friends recommended to me a while back that I would like being a member here at Homegrown Goodness. I look forward to meeting and getting to know everyone. In my garden I grow many things. I love all garden vegetables, fruits, and herbs. I have enjoyed gardening my whole life since I was a child. I am 34 years old. I am married and have a 6 year old girl that is a great gardening buddy. I built my own little greenhouse. I have tomato breeding projects in there right now.

I live on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It is a peninsula located between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. I am in USDA zone 7b.

Within the past year I have become increasingly interested in plant breeding. I want to do it all now! lol It is a wholesome hobby to have. I enjoy watching things grow and sharing experiences with people who share the same interests!
