I would love to have some fresh onions 2 months after the main crop. I plan on starting indoors 2 months after I start the main ones. I suppose I should try a short day type. Has anyone done this and with what onions?

I get fresh green onions two ways in the fall....
1- I don't plant all of my onion sets in the spring, and plant some all season long for continuous greens.
2- I plant Egyptian onion top-sets for fall green onions.
If I plant onion seeds in very early spring, I get walnut sized bulbs to harvest during late fall.
I plant Walla Walla onions for my first harvest of bulbs, Utah Yellow Spanish for a mid/late season harvest, and Big Daddy for late fall harvest.
