Red Ursa hands down for texture, taste, hardiness and the ability to self sow but I also love Dwarf scotch curled.

Seeds placed in 'sow for winter' box. Looking forward to trying it even more now.

Tie between Russian Frills and Portuguese Dairyman. Dairyman is hardier, RF is better looking, both taste very very good.

Umm..ah...another difficult one.. I quite tend to pick Pentland Brig more than any other kale..Red Russian and Sutherland Kale being shared close second.

Haven't tried red ursa, but planted both red russian and siberian and the siberian appears to be more resistant to insect damage and self seeds nicely. Great for spring bees.
