I've said it before, numerous times, and I'll say it again:
Red Rock Mammoth. It just does everything I wants it to: resists pests, diseases, and the cold to produce yummy medium sized heads that store well. The only possible problem is that it is a long season so won't work for some growing areas/systems. It has also has a heavy texture but I like that.
I like the hybrid I produced too but I suspect that RRM will out resist the weather. We'll see. Good testing grounds right now with dips below minus double digits and NO SNOW! Tomorrow we get ice rain.

So far, Early Jersey Wakefield is my favourite for flavour.

I really like January King and it has grown well in my garden. Copenhagen Market and Early Jersey Wakefield have done best as fast growing summer cabbage.
I bought some Red Express seed last summer and was annoyed that none of it germinated. I will try again. Anyone else grown it?
