Hi woo I am from Slovenia - Europe. Is there any chance you could send me Yacon? I need it urgently, as a healing plant. If it can be nice please. gardenia Sorry, I don't have yacon crown. Somebody send me yacon root. I am not sure it is possible to sprout. Everybody said no. I am try now . if succeed OK. But I don't have hope. I will remember you. If succeed, let you know. See the Yacon, Mashua and Oca and other Andean crops thread. We have been talking about yacon. Orflo is very knowledgable and his website is fantastic. To the best of my knowledge, you have to have the crown. I posted that Dr. Kapuler of Peace seeds in US (contact info in other thread) has agreed to sell Homegrown Goodness members the crowns and Orlo may be able to help you find the crowns in Europe. Hope this helps.

These are indeed the roots, and they won't form new plants. You need the very small propagation tubers on top of the plants if you want to create some new plants.
