Hi all, Yesterday, The mail broght me two copies of the 2012 Richter's herbs catalog. Eagerly I flipped to the Seed Zoo section, to see what was new for the year. One of the new things is a kind of bean from the Ewe people of Africa. All well and good. The problem is that, once again, as thet did for one of the Italian one's they have listed these beans a P. Vulgaris (i.e common beans) when, based on the picture they are clearly some sort of cowpea (V. ungiculata). to someone who is pointedly trying to grow one species or the other, this mistake is a big deal.

Email Conrad. Richters is his passion not just his business. I had a long & helpful email exchange with him when I was trying to get more info on Altrei lupins. You'll probably have the same kind of positive exchange that I had.
Regards, Mike
