I just finished reading about the damage to life and limb in the path of this storm system that is raging through the U.S. this weekend. I didn't realize until I read the report on CBS just how bad it is and how widespread.
Pleez post and let us know you are safe!!
Gardens can be replaced, people can't..

Hi Blue:
I'm still here. We had a tornado touch down less than a mile from the house. I think I may have caught the edge of it coming home from the grocery store Friday evening. We got a few dents in the car, but we're safe and sound. Thanks for checking on everyone.

Oh boy am I ever glad to see you post Michelle. I was worried! I noticed that you hadn't posted on TV since sometime Friday. And you hadn't been here... Sorry to hear that the twister twisted some metal on your car, but glad that you are okay!!

Same as Alan, here, just rain, although they say winds and maybe <gasp> snow is on the way for tomorrow. We'll wait and see!

We had a bit of snow this morning. Just a gentle fall. But this afternoon it's turned to a good downpouring of rain. And chilling to the bone.. If it would just warm up a bit, it would almost be springlike...

Today, we are springlike. The sky is deep, deep robins egg blue, since the storms washed all of the pollution out of the air. I've been breathing deeply and soaking up sunlight all day. I can't believe what a difference a good storm makes.
