Randel has temporarily (hopefully PERMANTLY) banned the idiot Zebraman. What's really funny, Zebraman attempted to rejoin as "Frances May" and got CAUGHT at it! I spent a good ten minutes rolling on the floor laughing my butt off! What a moron!

I just clicked on his profile and it says he's Private Messaging. So banning just really prevents posting on the forum. I doubt if it will stop him harassing the members otherwise.

He can write people all he wants with pms. Just as long as he stops harassing them on the forums. Let him talk, just as long as I don't have to hear him.
I was just over there and after he left even the political forums were fairly calm. Everybody just seems to be talking about gardening.
I guess we can enjoy our week of peace.

When I looked, it doesn't say he can recieve PMs, only emails - and you have to find his profile on the forum menu, because, at least for me, he isn't in the Zs in the member list.
I never did put him on ignore, because I kept waiting for that pearl of wisdom to fall from his lips... I'm still waiting. On Homesteading Today, though, he's styling himself as a knitting and beading guru. Perhaps I should have been waiting for a purl? Ah well, if the internet is true to form, there will shortly be a new weasel to replace him - nature abhors a vacuum, don't you know!

I've noticed something about the mechanics of idig. It doesn't matter whether you're sending a PM or reading one. Your status is still listed as "Private Messaging". Maybe that's why his activities status says that.
Heh,heh, can you imagine how powerless he must feel, being able to cruise the boards, but not be able to respond? That thought alone makes it all worthwhile!

Huh. I figured after the whole Frances May thing they'd just make it permanent. I guess Randel is a man of his word, though. Perhaps we'll be lucky and he'll just stay over on Homesteading Today. Doubt it, though. Let's hope the threat that this was his final warning was for real.
