Every so often I find myself with this itch. it is to tell my elected and appointed officials what I think of long term care for people with disabilities. It often concludes with an arrest (but not always). Whelp I find that itch a growin' again. So for the next week I will be away in Washington DC. If you need to know more look in the upcoming events section at: www.adapt.org/Be back real soon courts permitting.

We get some of the DC local news, Tomc, so we'll watch for you! If you get arrested, look straight at the camera and say "HEY Elizabeth!" That way I'll know it's you getting pepper sprayed and carted away. Seriously, good luck!

On balance we're doing a fair job of shifting the course of the ship of state as it pertains to long term care. It's slow work that could use the lift of a couple extra hands. but things is moving along. If you want to peek at what we do go visit: www.adapt.org/freeourpeople/aar/ccal/indext.htm
