I have a friend in the granite countertop business. Out back of his shop is piles of granite saw dust from cutting all the slabs. Would this be good to put in the garden? thanks for any advise Gray

If it doesn't glow in the dark, it's probably a valuable soil amendment, for potassium and phosphorus, at least.

The Encyclopedia of Organic Gardening had charts of the potassium content of granite dust. Sometimes the acids in organic matter make mineral nutrients more available to plants. Think slow release. Nice to put it to use great find!
