So I was watching a show in OTV about Agatha Christie. Not anything earthshattering, but I was interested. They were interviewing experts on her writing from around the globe, including a non-English speaking Russian man. So duh... subtitles are needed, right? There they are, and right on cue, the stupid banner comes up at the bottom of the screen, advertising some show about Jackson Pollock next week. CAN'T READ THE SUBTITLES! DON'T SPEAK RUSSIAN! I have no idea what the man said. This happens on all sorts of stations now... you'll be watching a creepy movie, and some character from another show starts jumping around in the corner of the tv, totally spoiling the creepy moment. Very annoying. And now I'm done ranting... for the moment, anyway...

I agree too, it's one of those things that sends me into a "rage" as I call it........bassicaly I go into a diatribe about how "blank station is f'n retarded and blah, blah, blah." Seriously, it''s the little things that do that to me and I'm not sure why, I was working on a piece of farm equipment the other day and got hit i the mouth with a piece of metal, my tooth went through my bottom lip and came out the other side, all I did was grab my lip, mumble "f@@k" and run to the bathroom, however if it had been a stupid comment, or god forbid the president was speaking, i'd have gone retarded and given one of my "were all screwed" lectures.
BTW, my lip is ok, just bruised, sore, and ugly.

Alan - what is that about some of us? I'm pretty much the same way... I took the better part of an entire fingernail off building my son's loft bed (the fingernail bed is a fascinating but PAINFUL part of your body, as I'm sure you all know... even air hurts it) and all I did was wrap it up and keep on trucking. But when an aquaintance told me the other day that she could "never move to California with children, because of all the gays there", it took me DAYS to get over the comment. And I don't even really like this woman, and have no plans to associate with her outside of the narrow span of our 4H existence together, and I'm fully aware that she's a moron and there's no hope of reeducating her puny brain, but man I STEWED over this...
By the way I find it amusing that OGRN said that tv banners bite, and then you told a story about you biting... funny.

Hey i only watch sports if i can find a game on but i do get tired of sportcaster being so perjury about teams and do not just call the game.
