I stopped at the auto parts store to get some parts for my truck. There were two women inside behind the counter. When I didn't know *exactly* what the part I was looking for was called the one just kinda looked at me. She said lots of things that amounted to "If you don't know I sure don't know". *YOU* work in an auto parts store. Your JOB is to figure out what I am talking about. They called another store and talked to....I don't know who, but he said that part was only available through "Super Jet" or some nonsense, it was their "high performance" line. BS!! The lady finally said something about thinking that this was maybe it, but she didn't know. I asked if they had the part, "Yes, we have both of them". I told her to go get them, I'd go out and look at my truck.
She brought the parts out, I took them out and looked at they were the right things.
I don't care if they were men or women.
[glow=red,2,300]DO YOUR DAMN JOB!![/glow]
Second part:
I also stopped and got some parts for the tractor. I called ahead and asked the guy if he could find the part numbers for me. He did and gave them to me over the phone.
I called back and told him I'd just come there and get them.
I got there, he finished with someone else, then I told him I'd called about the bearings. He looked up some numbers again, then got the three pieces. One of the bearings cost $48!!
But my dad is paying for it, so I didn't sweat it much.
I got home and started to put things together....guess what?
[glow=red,2,300]WRONG DAMN PART!![/glow]
I can do a lot of the work putthing things back together before I'll need this piece. But it is just the principle of the thing!
Again I'll say, DO YOUR JOB!
What bothers me the most is that I doubt I'll even get a "Sorry about that" when I take it back.

Oh! and I lost my job yesterday.
