They ate all my germinated seeds!! Now they are lying in wait for the next germination so that some seedlings are actual able to make true leaves. Grrr... I'm going to make some row cover 'brassica boxes' in case they are a problem next year too. That and for my overly early cabbage etc... starts that I like to do. All grown up seedlings were unnoticed by them this round.

Flea beetles are the uber-suck. They are all over the place now, just not at summer plague levels yet.

Sorry to hear about your vegetable seeds getting eaten by flea beetles. Here we have mice, that do so much damage.

They are on my potatoes. I am trying to get all my flea beetle susceptible stuff as grown as I can get it before putting it out.
Last year old coffee grounds and brewing a second pot of coffee and putting the second-pass coffee on the plants and around them seemed to deter them a little.
This year I am going to try to make a tea of the lemon balm that grows all over the place and try that on them. I'll let you know if it seems to work or not. That's on the agenda for this weeks projects
