;D Anybody here getting excited to see this movie? I know I am and have been psyched about it for at least the past 6 months, the viral marketing campaighn on the internet has been crazy and the secrecy around this film makes it a must see for me, as of yet not only have I not seen a single negative review but there have also been no legitamate pictures of the monster posted online. Kim and I will be seeing this movie next week sometime and going on another seed rack expedition.

I'm interested to see this one too, but not half as excited as my daughter! It might even be a trip to the theater for us... which is rare. We are generally renters, since wearing jammies to the movie theater is gauche!

I heard the local movie critic today talk about this movie. He said the only downside to the movie was that it was too short at 75 minutes long.
Considering the crap coming out of Hollyweird these days, if the only complaint is that the movie is too short, they must finally be learning...

I don't have a clue as to what this movie is about, but PyroRob hit on a good point that Hollywood should take from the art of public speaking: It's better to leave your audience a little hungry for more than to bury them with a long-winded speech.

It does look interesting. I think I've watched every on-line trailer there is.

Can I just say...Effin' awesome. I'm normally not into big monster movies...But this one was very different. And so far we still aren't sure what the monster is...

Absolutely terrific movie, I can't reccomend it enough. While there are some questionable plot elements in my mind (I'm a picky guy, sorry) this movie is easily the best monster movie that has been made in the past 30 years.
While I wasn't alive when the original Alien movie was released, I have to believe that this is the closest my generation will ever get to experiencing that kind of terror, excitement, and thrill in a movie theatre.
Check it out when you have a chance!

Just read a story on CNN - seems some people are actually getting vertigo while watching and have to leave the theater.....

My wife probably couldn't sit through it, as she gets ill watching home movies because the camera moves around too much. I'll probably wait until the DVD comes out.

I'll buy the vertigo thing...Theres something about climbing across one building at the 39th floor into another that is leaning agains it...LEANING against it. Oh...and falling out of the sky in a helicopter... That'll do it...lol!
