Got the results of the cardiac stress test. Seems I have an "abnormality" or "dead spot" at the top of my heart, which has been causing the chest pain. Doc gave me two choices - try increasing the dose of beta blockers (which should help, at least for awhile), or go ahead and get a heart cath to determine if it can be repaired with a stent, or worse case scenario, a bypass. I opted for the beta blockers for now although the heart cath is definitely in the future.
Still have to pace myself and rest frequently in between chores, etc.
Thanks to all for the prayers and support!

Good luck, Gerald. Even if you have to go worst case in the future, it's not the end of the world. You're in my thoughts, as always.

Hey Gerald, I hope and pray that the treatments work and you don't have to have surgery.
