Oh man, what a waste of time and resources, what is an onion without a few tears? Tears let you know it was worth the work!

Seems unnatural. lol When I ran out of onions, I bought a brand called New York Bold. And they made me cry big time. Yet I bought them again. I suppose I am crazy. lol They actually are very good both raw and cooked.

The only upside I have to my very bad vision, is that I wear contacts that protect my eyes when chopping onions...No matter how strong the onions are, I never cry! (what a toughie I am LOL)

Hey FP, you'll have to search out an Onion Festival so we can try those. Wonder if they'd make good onion rings?? Sammy, I've never worn contacts so that seems odd to me. I would have thought that contacts would have been difficult to wear when chopping onions. Learn something new every day!

I have never had any problem with onions making me cry. When i was growing up my brother and sisters teased me about it.

I just finished planting some Amish Bottle onions from my friend Martin, I doubt I could ever get excited about a GMO no matter what it does.
