I see Johno online right now!! Glad to know you're okay.
Down was posting around midnight...but he lives in the worst part affected??
There are several others that I know of.
I don't see any mention of this on iDig?? Except for Moonlily saying that it was getting nasty outside....
I do hope that y'all escaped harms way. Please let us know. I'm off to try and find others that don't belong here....such as my friend Phyl...

Everything is good here in Pekin, it didn't even get really nasty though we were under a Tornado warning.
How are things over in Paoli Karen and Patrick?

The nearest town to the West was destroyed; thankfully I'm several miles from there.

Glad you are ok. Strange how there is such a large area of destruction, last I heard there were at least 52 people killed in four different states. Paoli is just a little wet, yesterday I had to go to Valley, there were a few places with water almost over the road. Gee, it sure would be a shame if the gamblers couldn't get to the casino, wouldn't it?

Are tornadoes common this time of year in your regions? I'm glad everyone is okay.

I've just heard from my g/f who got through it all fine, except for an overflowed fishpond. Thanks for the responses thus far. I feel better now. Still more to go though..

No tornados are not common this time of year and such an out break has never been seen in Feb, April or May, sure but not Feb.
we were under a tornado watch and had heavy winds and there might have been a weak one 8 or 9 miles south of me but no heavy damage in the area.

Arkansas has seen quite a few tornados this time of year. We had one back in January that was very destructive. Everyone I know in the path has contacted me and said they were ok. If only that were true for the less fortunate...and don't foget the animals (livestock and others) that weren't so lucky. I am so scared of tornados, mainly because I don't know how I would gather up all my pets in time.

Are tornadoes common this time of year in your regions? I'm glad everyone is okay. In Indiana Tornado season starts about March and will last through about Oct. Though the later in the year you go the less likely the possibility of one is. This year has just been weird. The last couple have been weird. I spent a large majority of my time in my bath tub in Bloomington one November, due to severe weather.

What happened to bluelacedredhead??
