How much should I offer the next over vendor for a peck of shallots for planting? A peck is 8 quarts.

How much should I offer the next over vendor for a peck of shallots for planting? A peck is 8 quarts. Pricing around here for dry onion-sets for planting is about $2 per pound. Last time I bought shallots at the farmer's market I paid $2 for 0.8 gallons. |

Shallots don't seem that easy to find. I think you should plan on growing them to sell for planting.
