This is a packet of seeds I was given by a friend. I think it's in Ukrainian. It seems to me someone here does know it... what I want to know is the name of the variety. I'll laugh if it's Detroit Early. We planted all our beets very, very late this year and this was the only one to get big enough to pick. There are still a bunch in the ground, and we've put a hoop-house over them for the winter. I really hope enough survive to get fresh seed next year, although it has to be admitted that so far no beets or chard have survived our winters. We shall see. I do have a bit more seed left. Unfortunately, the text can't be pasted into a machine translator.
Last year, was a lady with a tomato website. I had asked her to help me ship Ian's inky oca...

I picked up only very little of this. Honestly wasn't sure whether I was reading a related language, or what.
May I ask whether you're Russian?

May I ask whether you're Russian? Too complicated to post about. But, I have a Cyrillic keyboard on my computer.

A librarian gave me flash cards. They throw stuff away which is neither worn nor obsolete. Some words also stick when I hear them in passing. But, this is not fluency or immersion.
