Aisling Keep Farm Chatsworth, ON Learn how to design and plant small or large Forest Gardens or Orchard Polyculures in this one-day workshop, taught in the Permaculture tradition and style. Instructor Brad Peterson assisted by Jeff Kitchen will discuss site design and soil preparation techniques, and participants will learn best plant spacing, pollination and pest management practices through seminars & hands-on experience. Two Special Guests this year. Dave McPhail will share his organic orchard management expertise from years of experience at Bousfield Organic Orchard near Milton. Sue Chan, a pollination biologist will dicuss the biology, care and use of native bees in the organic orchard. NOT TO BE MISSSED!
This event will be held rain or shine, so bring appropriate attire, as well as work gloves, boots, a shovel, and a potluck lunch to share. Drinks and snacks, plates and cutlery provided. The event starts at 9:00 a.m. sharp!

My wife and I attended a forest gardening workshop in Vermont last weekend taught by Eric Toensmeir. Amazing experience...learned a ton. Vermont is a beautiful place. Did a hugelkultur planting as part of the workshop.
