Oh, you mean a Bell bitter melon. Yeah they're stable (at least, there are varieties that make them consistently) They come in both colors (green and white) and both seed colors (tan and black). I've always considered them to be to the standard BM what the lemon is to cucumbers.

I'm younger so to me Gac reminds me of polyvinyl alcohol slime (i.e. Gak)
