Has anyone noticed this? Michurin mentions a few apples have these round seeds, like Apport (Constantine??). In his experience, he says these round-seeded varieties give very strange seedlings. He notes in "Selected Works" that one of these seedlings produced a small plant with green trunk/stems looking more like a cactus than an apple tree, but he lost it during one winter. I have never seen a round seeded apple, but If anyone has any I'd love to grow out some seedlings.
