Does anyone know what size to pick this at? We pick rat-tailed radish pods while the pods are still tender, before they turn fibrous... Diameter of 5-6 mm is about right. If they get to the diameter of a pencil that is too late. No sense picking the super tiny pods, because that wastes time and effort. In my garden they need to be picked 3 times per week. We store them refrigerated until market day.

I find that when they go brown on the very tip of the tail they are too fibrous. Very good to store in the fridge I agree.
