Last year I tried a pokey OP Romanesco and didn't have any heads by winter so this year I went back to Veronica F1. But only one stinking head formed before winter kill. I am disgusted by this crop. All those months of just sitting and doing nothing but wasting space.

I really like eating Romano beans, but truly, I've not had good results from any of them; I fear I have serious climatological issues with them. I do wish I could grow whatever I want, but that seems not to be the case. Damn! Aren't I exceptional?

Actually I guess it was Tipoff hybrid Romanesco.

I know it's the Brassica threads; I've had no luck whatsoever growing Romanesco broccoli, either.
