My climate is normally low humidity during summer, but the last five days we have had a weather system drag tropical air down over us so i dont know if thats the reason for what ever has effected my onions.Because its rare to get a lot of disease here i dont recognize it,anyone know what it is?

That is onion leaf blight Botrytis squamosa which exists only in NZ, and USA not in Aussie Thanks Cesar,a Google search does show that thats what it is. I read that - and which the resent weather we had was perfect for the Botrytis. But interesting though, both the Pukehohe Long Keeper white and the red were hit but not the California red bulbil onions. Now that weather is back to the normal lower humidity hopefully it wont get any worse.
