Hi,

i'm interested by tree collard but i'm a bit lost in all infos about it.

As i've understood, tree collard is different from walking stick cabbage, and should be more palatable.

Most info about them come from UK or Ca, so it seems it's just hardy to zone 8. Have you any experience growing it successfully in zone 7 or lower ? (My min temp are usually -12/-15°C 5-10°F)

And i'm in search of an European source for plants/cuttings of tree collard, if anyone is aware of it

This plant is so beautiful and seems perfect for some polycultures ...

That is unusually cold for here, so I don't know how much more they could take.
	Growing where temperate rainforest meets the sea (WA coast): Jan avg low temp ~34F, Aug avg high temp ~69F, ~111 annual inches of rain, but only about 15 inches May-Sep, salt air, lots of wind. Garden blog: www.cultivariable.com/blog
