I started a thread on permies.com about my project to breed a perennial brassica in Colorado. Here is a link. I have been given lots of useful information, and even some seeds! www.permies.com/t/32351/plants/plan-breed-perennial-brassicaI would really like to get all your feedback on it as well, since I am new to this. And if anyone in the Front Range wants to participate, I would be glad to share the F1 or F2 seed . . . if I manage to get it!

Welcome here, i'm the guy who posted the link to this board on permies I plan to get Purple Peacock broccoli into the perennial kale line of Graham. You should take a look at the thread on daubenton flowering, it is very interesting.

Hi Gilbert, I managed to get several D'aubenton Kale to germinate and am testing several other supposedly perennial Kales for perenniality. Will keep you posted and share when I ever get some seeds. I'll chack out your thread on permies.
