Here is the statement through which the Center for Food Safety is launching its International Seed Savers Exchange.

The Center for Food Safety (as well as OCA) have been heavily financed, for the past 10 years, by the Rockefeller Foundations and by Big Pharma (Merk Fund).

It is clear for us that we are witnessing another attempt, by the controlled opposition, to divert energies in the seed saver community.

Their alliance with the Avaaz criminal gang is a clear proof of their non-ethical approach.

The fact that they never speak about the Codex Alimentarius is another one.

Without speaking of their support of the Food Safety Modernization Act (S. 510) by the United States Congress.

Today, we estimate that the 60 000 people who have participated (for only the past 2 weeks) in the so called and fraudulent «Noah’s Arch against Monsanto» (throught the Avaaz Campaign presented in 17 languages) have contributed to the level of almost 1,5 million dollars.

Where is all this money going to? To which seed project?

This campaign is of course just one of the many fraudulent Avaaz campaigns (to save the bees, to save the climate…) generating millions of dollars to pay the very high wages of these predators (200 000 dollars per year for Rick Patel, for example, the director).

It is almost impossible to stop Avaaz from getting huge amounts of money from so naive people.

But at least, lets us demand together clear explanations from Andrew Kimbrell, director of the CSF, and most of all, demand that they stop right away to launch this so-called

International Seed Savers Exchange which is just another smokescreen.

I want to say that I completely agree with what Dominique says here. Many European seed organizations have been discussing this campaign, and it's unlikely it has the support from anyone here. Vandana Shiva's name was used in the promotion of it, and she denies any endorsement.

At best Avaaz is a dubious organization, and the CSF isn't any better than the SSE. This is just another case of the richest 1% taking advantage of the remaining 99% of us.

Certainly don't give them any money, and think twice before giving them any seeds.
