Hey all - I've been lurking for the past little while, but it feels good to be back and posting again . So I have a bit of a mystery regarding some Orca beans. Or what I thought were Orca beans. To my knowledge, orca is a bush plant, with green-when-fresh pods. Well, despite the fact the resulting beans do look like orca beans, the pods when fresh were yellow, and it was a vining plant of about 5ft. I've included a few photos. Anybody have any clue? There even seems to be quite a bit of dispute online as to them being bush/vine (but I believe bush is the correct growth for this variety), but they all seem to agree that the pods when fresh are green. The source for the seeds was a commercial seller, and the looked like Orca when I planted them.

I believe there are a number of varieties with patterning similar to Orca - some are vining, some are bush but I'm not sure about pod colour. I think there's an Italian one called Bada Nero which is vining.
