I had some problems with my harvesting this year. I tried to get the neighbor farmer to dig them but he ended up not being able to get down the road. So by the time I dug them myself it was cold. I put them in a greenhouse in the garage with a heater for 3 days. Then I turned it off and a day later just stacked the boxes in the garage or shed. The ones I took to market yesterday had some sprouts. What should I do?

	Zone 10a, Garden year round but too hot in the summer for many things. Focusing on breeding my own landraces for drought tolerance and heat tolerance.

	Drip irrigated gardening in the arid southwest on a beautiful pile of alluvial rocks where the hill country meets the desert. It's a food desert, too: a 3 hour round trip to the grocery store.
