I used a different lab this year. I did more tests than previously but I just got the email of results with no recommendations or even a graph. All I have is my numbers from the last tests. Maybe something is still coming.
Numbers p 214/215 K 267 51% mag 360 22% Cal 1971 72.7% sulfur 32 zinc 9 manganese 8 iron 41 copper 1.3 boron .6
Ph is under 7! 6.9 now. Cation 13.5

I see their simple ratings now of very high, high, low. I have VH for p, k, mg, iron, zinc, sulfur; good for calcium, copper and low in boron and manganese.

It's usually a bad idea to use different soils labs from year to year. Different labs will use different tesing protocols and comparing test results from different years from different labs will not give you a very clear picture of what is happening in your soil. It can be interesting to send the same sample to multiple labs to get a "second opinion" but it is hard to compare tests from different samples tested at different labs.

I wasn't happy with the U of M. This test was more comprehensive. I now know I have a lack in boron and manganese. Now to figure out what to do. But I also would like to know what to do about the excesses. Phosphorus has not gone down at all.

That's what I was thinking because I always have problems growing beets. I wanted to do a weak fertilizer in my drip lines next year but have no idea how to choose.
