Photobucket has become unusable lately, you load a photo, its says its loaded, you go and check the library and its not there, load again and the same thing happens, this may happen 4-5 times, check the library and WTF, there 5 of the same photos. You then go to delete the extra ones and it wont delete them, fuck photobucket, i give up.

I never used Photobucket; my photos were in Picassa (now Googlesomethin) and they never worked from there. Believe it or not, what does work is Pinterest. So I have a pinterest album of photos Ive used here.

Not sure what happened there. The " s20.postimage.org/mt9q4ynxl/image.jpg" part is all you need. Paste that into the dialog box for adding an image. I use the text from the box that says "Direct Link". davidp, I've tried a bunch of different methods of posting images here and I keep going back to postimage.org. It sizes the photos for you. Try the method above before you give up!

Just checking my ability to add Photobucket images after the latest news. Please ignore this post. Edited: Ok, no Photobucket ransom on my pics, whew. Maybe it is because I have a paid account.

Just a test. Looks like it worked finally! Oldmobie's postimage.org screenshot was helpful. It seems that postimg.org has made a change lately. I've noticed for a while that a lot of my older pictures have disappeared from my posts. I had assumed that I had refiled them on the server, breaking the links. Now I think that postimg renamed one of their servers. If you use them for hosting, and you're being annoyed by this problem, try this: 1) Edit the post the pic(s) are missing from. Use the tab at the bottom to view the BBCode. 2) Find your image link. it should look like this: [img src="http://s25.postimg.org/p8cihhyxb/tmp_IMG_20140509_191931_8435612.jpg" style="max-width:100%;" alt=""] 3) Edit it to look like this: [img src="https://s25.postimg.cc/p8cihhyxb/tmp_IMG_20140509_191931_8435612.jpg" style="max-width:100%;" alt=""] (Only change "http" to "https" and ".org" to ".cc" . This has restored all of the broken images I've tried it on. Good luck!

I'm just testing to see if I can successfully post an image by using postimage. As a thumbnail:
It worked, thanks farmermike! By the way, I have no idea what plant this is or was (mowed off) It just grew in the lawn near the house, so it might have been a flower 'out of place' or something.

Thought I would add that I've recently been using vgy.me/ to host photos. Free and simple, the way life ought to be!
