I suspect dark rooted ones are more likely to express this trait and I do rather like dark rooted carrots.
	Garden is a clearing in the woods grading from shallow, rocky soil supporting a maple bush to a pine forest planted on sandy soil and a clay bottomland with spruce and tamarack.

This was the most striking purple flowered that i've found in ARS GRIN. Unfortunately if you look at root characteristics in "Observation" link, it is not wonderfull. Here is a list of accession noted with purple anthers, with photos when available :

Not sure which varieties had them, probably the blacks and lavenders. There were purple stems too.

I know they ship overseas.
