Hi !
Has anyone grown the Rocket Diplotaxis muralis ? I would like to know if it is perennial but have hard time to find the correct answer, because it is either cited as perennial (in Eric Toensmeier book), tender perennial/hardy annual (in a seed catalog, dont know what that means) or annual/biennial (in some scientific books about brassica breeding).

Edited:
Wait, I'm growing Diplotaxis tenuifolia. That seems to be listed as perennial whereas muralis is mostly listed as annual. Perhaps short lived perennial? Anyhow, following.

Interesting origin paper: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16547870I see what you mean about references listing it as annual-perennial. According to the USDA it is an annual-biennial. Intersting to hear other people's experiences.

Annual-biennal according to the flora. Short-lived would be a good description probably, even when it survives for a few tears it will not behave like a real perennial.
It does grow in the wild here in Antwerp.
