Has anyone grown red ursa kale? How does it compare to red russian?
I've grown lots of red russian, but never ate much as I couldn't find a way to make it edible. The chickens even passed it by.

We love Red Russian kale sauteed with garlic and potatoes in a little olive oil.

It would be hard to find a vegetable that wouldn't taste good with onion and bacon grease :-)

Red ursa is my favourite. I find the taste quite similar though maybe a bit more robust in texture? At any rate, it's more vigorous for me.

What species is it? I have Ragged Jack, which is very similar to Red Russian, but I read somewhere that they're different species.
