My zucchini have been blooming for over two weeks. There appear to be male and female flowers. There appears to be a lack of bees in our area, could this be the problem? Is there a way to artificially pollinate some of them.
My neighbor has already harvested about a bushel full. His garden is about 200 yards from mine.

Did your neighbor's start blooming earlier than yours?
Sometimes it takes a few weeks before anything starts happening... I bet they'll make.

Listen to Johno, Mike. 200 yards is nothing, and if he has pollinators you do too.
Of course, once they do start producing you'll be singing a different tune, I reckon.
