Is anyone else growing these this year? I'll be growing to renew seed. My climate is marginal for runner beans, I usually wind up with half a crop at best and only a few varieties do that well. It just gets too hot here in North Alabama.

It just gets too hot here in North Alabama. I have Insuk's Wang Kong seed that I'm intending to plant. And also seed from a handful of other varieties. Knowing me, I'm unlikely to label them as they go into the field. I even have some seed who's ancestors survived one and two generations in my garden already. Hardly any of that seed, but at least enough to replant. I'm going all in this year, not keeping an archive copy, so if it fails, it's gone from the garden.

I did a grow out of IWK last year and got a nice crop. Tall vines topped out over 8 ft. Beautiful seeds: If anyone wants to try these, drop me a PM and we'll work something out!
