Last year my "Cives" (in french) gave me seeds And from the sowing I can see many small plants albinos, yellow and only few with green color ! Do you have ever see that in this great percentage ?

I have noticed the occasional yellow seedling in my tray of potato onions but not the high percentage you are seeing. I know these potato onion seeds throw up a lot of variation so maybe a few albinos are to be expected. Your cives may be a real genetic mixture with a lot of unviable freaks. What is the difference between cives & ciboule? I suspect a link with the old Scots word sybie meaning green salad onion.
Wha'll buy sybies, wha'll buy sybies, wha'll buy leeks. Wha'll kiss the bonnie lass, wi the red cheeks.
Old street cry, I think.
