I'm interested, but the info I get is scattered, if not contradictory; hoping you keep us posted on your results and that you have spare seed next year, if it proofs well.

Wow I thought for sure somebody would be interested in this!!!!! I'm interested in how yours do, but it looks like Hopi Black may be nothing more than Musquee de Provence, or a slightly different line of Musquee de Provence, that someone misnamed or misidentified.

Castena I have asked her if this was the case and she assured me this is NOT Musquee....she got this from a native American lady and she did not have many seeds but she also said they look nothing alike...so...we shall see because I grow a lot of musquee for market.

It is a demonstrable falsehood that "they look nothing alike". I have grown both of them. HB was slightly larger and took a little longer to develop. Otherwise they are virtually identical even including the sparse seed production and the scarred seeds. If she fabricates this, why wouldn't we assume she is fabricating everything else? Anyway, let us know how they develop for you.
