Mache / corn salad / lamb`s salad grows wild everywhere in my garden. All plants flowered and are setting seeds by now. To my surprise I found 3 plants refusing to bloom, what a joy! They look like a mound of mache salad, a lot of sidebranches all formed like a single plant. I am looking for that since ever, as I usually are too slow to eat that masses of mache in the short time before they bloom. Anybody found something similar?

I have tried to get it established here and it just hates me or something.

I've never managed to get it to grow; like longhorngardens, I think it just hates me.

mache makes a really good salad if you are able wash out all the sand and dirt.... steev and longhorngardens where do you live? It grows like mad here. It definitely likes cooler temperatures. I sow it in autumn for spring harvest. When temperatures raises it starts to bolt very fast. That is a real problem, it really needs more bolt resistance. I am happy to share seeds if any is interested.
