I had been looking through old info, and ran across a post that one of the regular contributors made. This person mentioned planting half runner beans near or beside their greenhouse, and that this row of 50? plants was very productive. They can be used as dry beans, I don't think they were snap beans. I looked 'em up, found a source, made plans... CRASH! When will I learn to USE PAPER in my planning? I'd like to get those beans for next year. Any Ideas?

I googled a few key words from your post, and found this: " Gigandes Beans", linked to from here: " Possibly gigante runner beans is what I want?". Is that possibly it?

Well, no. The plants produced many beans, not big beans. Thank you for your time though. Maybe they were cowpeas? I have several of those, but none so prolific as described in the post I lost.
