... needs a name! I am lacking in inspiration so please give me some suggestions. Here's what I said about it last year: "Jaune Flammé x Unknown Red Slicer. My favourite tomato for eating raw. Combines the growth habit of Jaune Flammé (starts early, produces well until frost, nice size tomato for single serving) with the flavour of a beefsteak type tomato. A winner! In spite of the photo it is pretty crack resistant - it rained all summer in 2014. Seems to be fairly stable on f4." All still true, except now I am on f5. I did a big grow-out at the farm of a friend who is a market gardener, and saved seeds from about 20 plants. There is no more than very slight variation in size/shape of fruits; they are really quite consistant. I'll be offering it in my exchange list once I have it ready later on in the fall.

Yeah, my immediate thought too. However, googling shows that someone else has beaten me to it. Rouge FlammeeMore good luck than good management, but coming to this place has taught me to be open to the possibilities of crossed up things!

Okay, you all are helping me focus here:
Ferdzy's Steak Salad Steak Flambé (Steak Flammé?) Meaford Rogue Onion* Street Rogue (our garden name, but ref to onions confusing?)
I like the idea of referring to its beefsteak tomato qualities... what think you all?
* Is a joke. We live on Union Street.

I like both Meaford Rogue and Onion Street Rogue. I think Onion Street Rogue is catchier but both are good.
