Well we got a new house in Stryker ,Ohio.Just got back on-line today. Something I did not notice before but we have two nice maple trees the biggest in the backyard offering a good amount of shade to relax in and set a nice table to sort through next years harvest. Also has a nice tire swing which my great niece has been having a good time using. Some things left behind by previous occupants 2 lawn rakes( very much needed ) 1 garden Rake , a small table now in the kitchen( was in the garage ) an ice breaker 5 assorted chairs in good shape. Also 3 book cases. And one working fridge with no handles on the doors I really had to clean the heck out of. So we made a few good scores with this house. With me are my g/f Linda and her daughter Becky My oldest niece Michigan Brat and her hubby and my great niece Audree. We are planing a major garden with fruit trees berries ,grapes and lots of great flowers.
House needs some work done but nothing we can't handle.

Congratulations! Sounds like a lovely nest. Have you stuck a spade in the ground yet? How's your soil?

Congratulations! Sounds like a lovely nest. Have you stuck a spade in the ground yet? How's your soil? Have not done any digging yet but it seems hosta and maple trees like it Got lots of grass to deal with but we should be ok. I know some good places to get organic fertilizer and our maple trees will provide lots of leaves for compost.

Well done. How much land do you have for a garden? We have a little over half an acre. Lots of room for every thing we want to grow.
