Hobbling round the market streets in Ernakulum this morning found an old guy selling grimy plastic bags of vegetable seeds. Comms was an issue, but I tried to pick out things folks here might be interested in. I'm not realy interested in taking any of these home - you should see the nasty nazi-inspired Border Protection service uniforms we have in Aust now! These are mostly green bean style legumes as far as i can figure out, snake bean, cowpeas maybe, and those huge red seeds, which he said were long. Also one chilli, one eggplant, one labelled tomato packet.. Ive found the post office, and envelopes, I'll cover costs. I can't upload pics at the moment from my tablet, but have posted pics on my facebook Jupiter Purple Snowpea site. If someone could reload them here would most appreciate it. No guarantees on anything, flying out in a couple of days, and packaging will be an issue. blueadzuki, not anyluck on your requests unfortunately. If anyone is intersted PM me details pronto and I'll see what i can do. Did get 4 big seeds of kudampuli which i tasted a few days ago, might have to try and source plants back home. Temp.

Going from the picture, the Big Red seeds are some sort of Canvalia though whether Jack Bean or sword bean, I have no clue
The rest from left to right top to bottom
White Lablab
Brown Pigeon peas
Either urd beans or okra seeds (grey things around the pigeon peas)
Black cowpeas (probably yard longs)
Red and white cowpeas (probably also yard longs)
Tan to brown cowpeas (probably not yard longs)
Squash or pumpkin
Cucumber or melon (probably cucumber)
Amaranth
I have absolutely no clue as to what the big black seeds are, except they look sort of moldy (is this that kudampuli you mentioned?)
Loofa (probably angled loofa, given the seed shape)
Chili
Cucumber or melon (again probably cucumber)
Note that the cucumbers are probably dosaki types, and so heat loving and not great for a lot of western uses (a LOT of insides)
