The above is a troublesome invasive here threatening a number of wild habitats. I have a couple of clumps about the orchard which are succeeding (slowly) amidst very competitive grass which says all you need about its growth potential.

I'd really like to do my bit for our native habitats by eating more of it but I find it stringy and not all that pleasant. Does anyone have any use recommendations or experiences of using the species?
